Yay! I placed the winning bid on a Lot! How do I get in touch with my Expert?

Winning bidders at the Philly Give & Get auction will be required to make their committed donation to the event’s charity recipient immediately after placing their winning bid. They can do so via cash, credit, or cheque. Once the donation is confirmed, they will receive a folder containing the following items:

      • Expert Contact Info Sheet, with the Expert’s name, company information, up-to-date contact information, biography, and preferred meeting dates and times;
      • Activity Gift Certificates, if applicable;
      • Activity Redemption Instructions, if applicable; and
      • Philly Give & Get Info Sheet, including trouble-shooting instructions, contact information for the event organizers, and information about the event’s charity recipient.

Do I have to participate in my Lot’s activities with my Expert, or can I bring someone else?

You don’t have to complete the activities with your Expert…but wouldn’t it be way cooler if you did?

What happens if I can’t get in touch with my Expert?

All of the Experts have committed to spending at least three hours with their winning bidder. If you are experiencing difficulty contacting your Expert, please contact us and we will resolve the issue to the best of our abilities. If your Expert becomes unavailable due to illness or some other uncontrollable circumstance, Philly Give & Get will research and coordinate a comparable Expert for you automatically.

Argh! I just found out that I’m being promoted to Grand Panjandrum of Awesome and moving to Paris…can someone else redeem my Lot?

Congratulations! You can absolutely gift your Lot to a friend, loved one, colleague, or that guy in the office that always picks up your coffee in the morning. Please contact us immediately to arrange the change. Please note that the new gift recipient will still be responsible for arranging the meeting with your Expert within 90 days of the original auction event date…so hop to it!

I had the best time EVER with my Expert! Can I tell you all about it?

Yes, totally! We’ll post a survey for you to complete post-auction.

My local business and/or nonprofit organization would love to participate in Philly Give & Get. How do we do that?

That’s awesome! Email lansie@phillygiveandget.org with the name of your business and the description of your donation, and Lansie will get back to you ASAP with the donation information.

I’m an Expert and want to donate my time to Philly Give & Get. How do I get involved?

Well, we dig the sound of that. We would love to have you involved! Email lansie@phillygiveandget.org with a description of what you do and your availability. If it seems like a good fit, we will be in touch ASAP to arrange participation in an upcoming event.
